This recipe doesn’t need to be grilled. It’s excellent for baked chicken too! You can even marinate a whole chicken before roasting it!
Lemon Pepper Marinade
Yield: 1 cup
⅔ c lemon juice
1 tsp salt
1 ½ tbl fresh cracked black pepper
⅓ c olive oil (not extra virgin)
Combine all ingredients. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

Chicken breasts
Lemon pepper marinade
Grill Grate
Marinate your chicken breasts for at least 4 hours. Do not wipe off excess marinade–you want the pepper to be sticking to the chicken.
Grill until done on a hot grill, either over your campfire or on a regular grill. Enjoy!
